Made for more than simply getting through
"I believe we are all made for more than simply getting through the demands of life and work."
For leaders especially, understanding yourself — how you think, what motivates you, how you respond under pressure, and how you impact others — is fundamental to how effectively you lead.
I came to this understanding through my own experiences of challenge and struggle. I have lived and worked in three different cross-cultural settings, learned to communicate and lead in a language and context I learned as an adult, navigated a genetic blood disorder, and led an organisation as National Director outside my own culture.
These experiences taught me that growth rarely happens in ideal circumstances. It happens when we are stretched, challenged, and required to discover new ways of understanding ourselves and others. That journey has led me to want to help others do the same.
